Welcome to Globit Transient. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our transient accommodation services located at #25F Suello Village, Marcos Highway, Baguio City. By making a reservation or staying at any of our units, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Definitions
- "Globit Transient," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Globit Transient, its owners, administrators, and authorized agents.
- "Guest," "you," or "your" refers to any person who makes a booking or stays at our property.
- "Unit" refers to any of our transient accommodation rooms or spaces.
- "Down Payment" refers to the initial payment required to confirm a booking.
- "Admin/Agent" refers to authorized personnel of Globit Transient.
2. Booking and Reservations
2.1 Eligibility
- The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age.
- Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian of legal age who will assume full responsibility for the booking.
- The primary guest is responsible for all persons included in the booking.
2.2 Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a down payment has been received.
- Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.
- It is your responsibility to verify all booking information upon receiving confirmation.
2.3 Down Payment Schedule
Down payment is calculated at ₱500 for every ₱5,000 of your total booking amount.
- Example: ₱9,000 booking = ₱500 down payment
- Example: ₱12,000 booking = ₱1,000 down payment
- Example: ₱17,000 booking = ₱1,500 down payment
- Example: ₱25,000 booking = ₱2,500 down payment
This structure ensures convenient payment with ₱500 or ₱1,000 bills.
2.4 Occupancy
Each unit has a recommended maximum occupancy (max pax). While guests may book even if their party exceeds the recommended capacity, please note that comfort may be compromised. Additional pax fees may apply as indicated in the unit pricing.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods
- GCash
- Cash (for balance payments or walk-in bookings)
- PayMongo (credit/debit cards, e-wallets)
3.2 Balance Payment
The remaining balance after the down payment must be settled upon check-in or as agreed with our admin/agent prior to your stay.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Cancellation
Important Notice:
All down payments are strictly non-refundable. Once a down payment has been made, no refunds will be issued regardless of the reason for cancellation.
4.2 Rescheduling
- Down payments may be transferred to a different date, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 days before the original booking date.
- All rescheduling requests must be coordinated directly with an admin/agent through our official contact channels.
- We reserve the right to deny rescheduling requests made within 2 days of the check-in date.
4.3 No-Shows
Failure to check in on your scheduled date without prior notice will be considered a no-show. Down payments for no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. Check-in and Check-out
5.1 Standard Times
- Check-in: 2:00 PM
- Check-out: 12:00 PM (noon)
5.2 Early Check-in / Late Check-out
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
- Requests must be coordinated with admin/agent in advance.
5.3 Late Check-out Penalty
A penalty of ₱500 will be charged for unauthorized late check-out beyond 12:00 PM.
5.4 Identification
While valid ID is not routinely required at check-in, guests must present valid government-issued identification when requested by admin/agents for verification purposes.
6. House Rules
6.1 General Conduct
- Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times.
- Any instructions given by admin/agents must be followed promptly.
- Guests are responsible for maintaining reasonable noise levels. While there are no fixed quiet hours, guests must comply when instructed by admin/agents to reduce noise.
6.2 Prohibited Activities
- Smoking: Strictly prohibited inside all units and common areas.
- Illegal activities: Any form of illegal activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without refund and may be reported to authorities.
- Property alteration: Moving, altering, or damaging furniture and fixtures is prohibited.
6.3 Events and Gatherings
Parties, events, or large gatherings require prior approval from admin/agents. Unauthorized events may result in additional charges, immediate eviction, or both.
7. Pet Policy
- Globit Transient is pet-friendly. However, guests must inform us in advance if bringing pets.
- Pets must wear diapers inside the unit at all times.
- Pet owners are fully responsible for any damage, mess, or disturbance caused by their pets.
- Cleaning fees or damage charges will be assessed based on the extent of damage or cleaning required.
- We reserve the right to refuse pets that pose a risk to other guests or property.
8. Liability and Damages
8.1 Guest Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the unit, furniture, fixtures, appliances, or property caused during their stay.
- Guests must replace damaged items or pay the equivalent amount for repair/replacement.
- Lost keys will incur a replacement fee.
8.2 Personal Belongings and Vehicles
Globit Transient is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of guests' personal belongings or vehicles. Guests are advised to secure their valuables and lock their vehicles at all times.
8.3 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Globit Transient, its owners, administrators, and agents shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, or property loss/damage occurring on the premises, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.
9. Parking
- One (1) car parking space is available for the entire property on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Multiple motorcycle parking spaces are available for guests.
- Parking is at the vehicle owner's own risk. Globit Transient is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss related to parked vehicles.
10. Security and CCTV
- CCTV cameras are installed in common areas for security purposes.
- No CCTV cameras are installed inside individual units to ensure guest privacy.
- By staying at Globit Transient, you consent to being recorded in common areas.
11. Amendments
Globit Transient reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your stay shall be resolved in the courts of Baguio City, Benguet.
